About Our Auction
Known as one of the premier charity golf tournaments in Hawai‘i, Links to Literacy is now celebrating its 29th year! Links to Literacy supports the 51 public libraries of the Hawai‘i State Public Library System (HSPLS) through Friends of the Library of Hawai‘i (FLH). Funds raised at the tourney provide nearly half of the FLH annual budget for public library programs, promotion, and other support.
This will be the third year that the Links to Literacy auction will be online and it's bigger and better than ever! We are excited about giving our FLH community members the chance to bid on the many amazing items donated by generous Hawaii and mainland companies and individuals!
This year, our focus for Librarian's wish lists is on the Lahaina Public Library Branch. FLH is working with the Hawaiʻi State Public Library System administration to support the efforts to return public library services to West Maui. HSPLS is looking for a temporary location where a new collection, technology, and much more will be needed.
Please consider a donation to support re-establishing library services in Lahaina. All proceeds from this donation item will go directly to this effort. Click below on "A Gift to the Lahaina Public Library" to donate! Mahalo nui loa!

About Friends of the Library of Hawaii
The Friends of the Library of Hawai‘i is a nonprofit organization whose primary objective is to maintain free public libraries in the State of Hawai‘i, to promote extension of library services throughout the State of Hawai‘i and to increase the facilities of the public library system of Hawai‘i by securing materials beyond the command of the ordinary library budget. Other objectives are to focus attention on libraries and to encourage and accept, by bequest or gift, donations of books, manuscripts, money, and other appropriate material that can enrich the cultural opportunities available to the people of Hawai‘i.
