Renowned as the former Artistic Director of Queensland Theatre (2010-2015) and Sydney Festival (2015-2021), Wesley stands tall as a distinguished artistic luminary, celebrated for his contributions as a visionary playwright and theatre director. You may be familiar with his award-winning and iconic screen and stage productions, such as 'The Sapphires' (2004), 'Appropriate' (2021) and most recently 'The Visitors' (2023).
Don’t miss your opportunity to meet one of Australia’s greatest theatre legends and learn about his inspiring journey to stardom beginning right here at Metro Arts where he made his first impression with the premiere of 'The 7 Stages of Grieving' presented by Kooemba Jdarra Indigenous Performing Arts in 1995.
