Mother's Day Auction for Healthy School Food

To celebrate our mothers, and all the mothers out there who make the world a better place, we offer gifts that give twice - once to the special mother in your life, and also to benefit the work of the Coalition for Healthy School Food. We are so grateful to our auction donors who support our work by donating their fabulous products!

HUNGRY KIDS NEED HEALTHY FOOD

The Coalition for Healthy School Food (CHSF) is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit that promotes plant-based foods and nutrition education in schools, to teach the whole school community about the effect of our food choices on health, the environment, equity, and other social justice issues.

At the Coalition for Healthy School Food, we believe that Hungry Kids Need Healthy School Food. That's why we partner with the New York City Office of Food and Nutrition Services, and other school districts to add healthy plant-based items to the cafeteria menus. But that's not enough. We work to educate the whole school community: the students, parents, teachers, teacher assistants, administrators, and food service workers. We also create educational resources and do outreach through statewide and national conferences.
