About Our Auction: Neighbor Hoods Sponsored by GM
Four diverse artists from across America were invited to express their love for the neighborhoods they call home, using actual GM vehicle hoods as their canvas. It’s artwork made in America. By artists made in America. Electrified by the vehicle brand made in America.
Once completed, their hoods were placed on display at one of the biggest music festivals of the year, Made In America. Alongside their creations stood previews of some of the latest GM tech that seeks to electrify the future. These artists involved spawn from four different corners of the country:
UPENDO: A Biomorphic Surrealist painting in the Abstract based in L.A.
Jerin "Jerk" Beasley: A skilled artist/businessman born and raised in New Orleans.
Shaina Kasztelan: A multidisciplinary artist based in Detroit, Michigan.
Symone Salib: A first generation Cuban/Egyptian muralist, street artist, and educator based out of Philadelphia
Each with their own unique style and voice, these artists aimed to create art that would not only speak volumes, but raise money for charities in the process. So bid and bid often! Just like the neighborhoods they represent, these pieces are one of a kind. Once the auction ends they hit the road. Don’t miss your chance to bring home a visually stunning piece of GM legacy.
