Nicholson Street Public School is a small but mighty school located in Balmain East. 'Nicho' relies on the fundraising efforts of the community to develop and improve the school and education opportunities available to its students.
This year our fundraising efforts will focus on enhancing the educational play equipment at our school with a special emphasis on creating an outdoor music garden in the playground for the children.
We have so many wonderful local businesses featured in our auction and are confident there is something for everyone in here! A carpenter for a few hours? A school holiday activity? Nicholson Street Public School, established in 1883, is a small but diverse school on the Balmain Peninsula. It has an enrolment of approximately 120 students K-6.
A proactive parent community, with high expectations, work in collaboration with a dedicated and enthusiastic staff. The school is committed to delivering quality teaching and learning programs with a specific focus on preparing every student to be articulate, informed, and involved global citizens.
