Prairie Travelers and the Andover Augusta Rail Trail Initiative are teaming up for the Oz Wicked Wind virtual auction, to benefit the Prairie Sunset Trail and the Redbud Trail.

The mission of Prairie Travelers is to develop, maintain and promote the Prairie Sunset Trail. Our vision is that the Prairie Sunset Trail connects neighbors and communities; promoting healthy, active lifestyles, stewardship of nature and appreciation of the region’s history. Prairie Travelers is an all volunteer non-profit, and is the cooperative effort of residents, local trail groups and outdoor enthusiasts dedicated to expanding recreational opportunities in the region through the development of rails converted to trails. Andover Augusta Rail Trail Initiative Inc. began in 2014 on a mission to improve the community by creating a trail. The Redbud Trail is now about 6 miles long in the Andover community area and currently connects into Wichita, then hopefully extending into Augusta. Our team hopes that one day it will grow to 20 miles. AARTI was created as a not for profit holding 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status. We seek to raise funds for the continued improvement and expansion of the Redbud Trail. More information at www.redbudtrail.org
