The online auction is an exciting part of the entire Ride for Children's Rehabilitation Foundation campaign. The funds raised in this auction will go directly towards purchasing specialized equipment and programs for children with disabilities.

The Leisure in Fun Environments (L.I.F.E.) program provides a wide range of fun recreational opportunities for children with disabilities. Some of the programs include summer day camps, music therapy, a ‘Saturday Night for Teens’ club, art therapy, cooking clubs and much more. It can be incredibly difficult for families to find suitable recreation opportunities that are suitable for their child’s needs. The L.I.F.E fills that void as each program is modified to fit the special needs and skill levels.

This program, which is funded entirely by Children’s Rehabilitation Foundation, is incredibly beneficial for children and youth with disabilities it teaches them valuable life skills, social skills and, most importantly, allows them to have fun!

The Children’s Rehabilitation Foundation is a Manitoba charity, dedicated to helping children with disabilities be as independent as possible. We are the fundraising arm for the Rehabilitation Centre for Children (RCC) and SSCY Centre.

RCC delivers interdisciplinary services at SSCY Centre in Winnipeg and in homes, schools, daycares and communities throughout the province of Manitoba and beyond. Through the generous support of our community members we are able to re-invest funds into the centre, providing a wide-range of recreation programs, supporting clinical services and giving much-needed equipment to children and youth living with disabilities.
