The accommodations were very nice, including large, comfortable beds, walk in showers, and balconies with amazing views. The staff were so gracious and kind and made the trip so relaxing. Food was amazing as well as the wine and Savannah Dry (local ale). But the best part of the trip of course was getting to see all the beautiful animals in their habitat. The guide and tracker were so knowledgeable and loved to share information each trip to help you learn and appreciate the animals and land as much as they do. And don’t worry about not having a telescopic lens….the animals were super close! But I never felt unsafe or in danger; just in awe of the incredible view and magnificent creatures God has blessed us with."

Katrina's Cocoon Crew was created in honor and memory of our daughter, Katrina, who passed away in 2021 from a six-year battle with brain cancer. Her dream and legacy are to bring smiles to children fighting cancer or other life-threatening illnesses. She wanted them to just be a kid and have fun by dressing up in costumes and character pajamas. Our mission is to raise funds to purchase costumes and to collect costumes to give to children receiving treatment in hospitals along with spreading awareness for childhood cancer. We currently benefit children at Dell Children's Hospital in Austin, Dell Children’s Blood and Cancer Center in Austin and St. Jude Children’s Hospital in Memphis.
