SSC Christmas

Sanger Sports Corner started off as a simple conversation between David York and Brett Bumpus. Through silly conversations, we thought it would be fun to start a podcast covering all sports for Sanger, Texas youth up to high school. After a conversation with Coach Chad Rogers, we got our foot in the door and began doing the play by play of the Varsity football home games while working with the High School AV department. Through more conversations with Coach Rogers, we added a weekly show, “Coach Rogers Show.” We thought this would be a great opportunity for the community and distant family members to engage with the SISD student athletes and coaches when they are unable to attend games. We went out and bought our own equipment, formed an LLC and Sanger Sports Corner was born. Since Fall of 2023, we have broadcast SISD football games (home and away, basketball games (home and away), baseball and softball games.Our reward is the positive feedback we receive from the community. We want to continue to grow our product to give the student athletes the recognition that they deserve and to allow the community and distant family members the opportunity to watch these athletes succeed on the field/court.
