Santa's for South Shore Seniors

Everyone is finding it a little harder this year.....our seniors are more vulnerable to price fluctuations due to their fixed incomes.
Our Santa's for Seniors program is experiencing increased requests and more requests for food, gas and heating certificates from our seniors living on their own.
The funds raised will be used to subsidize those seniors with the greatest need for assistance with food or shelter issues.

Christmas can be a lonely time of the year, especially for senior citizens. This groups purpose is to spread holiday cheer by reaching out to seniors in need or alone during the holidays. We do this by collecting the senior's wish lists from various community groups and use our Facebook account Santa's for South Shore Seniors to find people who will Adopt and Shop.
This allows our whole community to participate in the true meaning of Christmas....a selfless charitable gesture.
