Thank you for helping us preserve our local history and carry it forward for future generations!

Your participation in our online auction will enable us to fund our biggest project to date. Our goal for this project is to move, resettle, and fully integrate of our Historic Town House onto presently owned Township property.

The Historic Town House was built in 1887 to establish a central gathering place for townsfolk to celebrate, vote, and come together as a community. Moving the Town House will ensure that this registered historic landmark will remain a central piece of our community's heritage, and serve as a gathering space once again.

Tyrone Township Historical Society has a mission to preserve, advance, and disseminate knowledge of the history of Tyrone Township. We were founded in 1975 when we took on a Bicentennial project to move and preserve the Historic Town House.
