Las Semillitas Cooperative Pre-School is located on the Mills College campus in East Oakland. Las Semillitas promotes Spanish literacy skills using a Montessori-based curriculum that emphasize the core values of community involvement, global citizenship, social justice, and social-emotional development. As a parent led cooperative, Las Semillitas offers parents opportunities to be involved on every level such as school administration, maintenance and participation in the classroom. We are a community that celebrates the culture and traditions of our diverse countries of origin. As a non-profit organization, Las Semillitas relies on the support of community members to support programs and services.
