SIMRS 30th Anniversary Fundraiser

Since 1991, Strawberry Isle Marine Research Society (SIMRS) has had the honour of promoting and conducting marine research, monitoring, and education in Clayoquot Sound and beyond. This auction is a fundraiser to support our general operating costs so that our team can continue to serve our communities and conserve marine ecosystems for generations to come. All items have been generously donated by various businesses and organizations that value our work and support our mission, making it so that 100% of the proceeds go to SIMRS!

Strawberry Isle Marine Research Society (SIMRS) is a registered charity based in Clayoquot Sound on the west coast of Vancouver Island, British Columbia. We are a group of naturalists dedicated to conducting long-term research and monitoring, providing emergency marine mammal response, and educating the public about marine ecosystems.

During our 30 years of work along the coast, we are proud to have established long-term research, monitoring and education projects that continue to better our understanding of marine ecosystems, help inform policy makers, educate the local community as well as provide emergency marine mammal response for the west coast of Vancouver Island.
