Stevenson Streatery 2024 Furniture Auction

For three remarkable years, the Stevenson Streatery has been a vibrant success, and after hearing the enthusiastic call from the community, it's back and better than ever!

Once again, the Stevenson Downtown Association has teamed up with local residents to bring this year’s Streatery to life. This public space invites locals and visitors alike to gather, relax, and enjoy the heart of downtown. Picture this: savoring takeout from your favorite nearby restaurant under the open sky, meeting a friend for coffee in the morning sun or enjoying a local musician perform during a Tuesday Tunes at Noon Streatery event. Maybe you’ll set up your laptop in a shady spot for an outdoor work session, or watch local kids laughing together over ice cream. It’s more than a place—it’s a hub for connection and community.

At the center of it all are the hand-crafted picnic tables, each a canvas for local artists who have generously donated their talent. Lending their creativity to a stunning “Gorge Water” theme created by volunteer coordinator, Kim Puckett of CASS Mobile Art, 23 artists hand painted the Streatery furniture. It is not just furniture—they’re works of art. All furniture is built by the Stevenson High School’s Ruff-Cutts crew. Volunteer teams sanded, primed, planted flowers, set up fencing and lights and helped maintain the space throughout the summer season. Truly, the Stevenson Streatery is a labor of love from the entire community!

This year’s auction features a selection of seven picnic tables (including one for kids!), ten handcrafted chairs (two are child size), two small side tables, one large coffee table, and six flower planters. Bidding kicks off at 5pm on September 29 and runs through noon on October 8.
