Tuff Start Rescue Annual Auction

Tuff Start Rescue is a small 501(c)3, non-profit animal rescue, run soley by dedicated volunteers. Many of our animals need special medical attention and we are one of the few rescues to take on these difficult cases. Once medically cleared, the animals we rescue are placed in loving foster homes until they are ready for adoption.

We rely on the support of our donors, fosters, volunteers and everyone who shares and supports our small but mighty rescue. All donations go directly to the cost of caring for our rescued animals until we find their best fit -- loving furever homes.

Tuff Start Rescue is a small 501(c)3, nonprofit rescue, founded in 2011 at the St. Francis
Veterinary Clinic in Isanti, MN. We proudly rescue animals in need, regardless of their medical problems
or quirks, such as those at risk for euthanasia due to health concerns or financial constraints, or simply
for being homeless or feral. While some may consider these animals ‘lemons,’ we love them just the
same. At Tuff Start Rescue, we love our lemons unconditionally!
Most of our animals require special medical attention and we are one of the few rescue’s able
to take on these difficult cases. Once treated and medically cleared, our rescue pets are placed in loving
foster homes until they are ready for adoption. We also have a ‘Forever Fosters’ program, for those
animals in need of hospice or specialized long-term care.
