2024 Venice Hongwanji Buddhist Temple Obon Auction

Our 10th Annual Silent Auction is being held in conjunction with our annual Obon Festival, which will occur on July 20-21, 2024. The Obon Festival is an event to honor family and friends who have passed on before us, and is one of our Temple's major fundraising events during the year. This is a very special year for us as the Temple is celebrating its 65th year!

Auction bidding begins on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at 9:00AM.
Proceeds from the Silent Auction help fund Temple operations and our many program and service offerings.
Our auction includes Extended Bidding which extends the end time of an item by 3 minutes when it receives a bid during the final 3 minutes. This process repeats until no new bids are received during the final 3 minutes or until 8:30PM on July 21, 2024, whichever comes first.

Venice Hongwanji Buddhist Temple is a diverse Jodo Shinshu Buddhist Temple that is a member of the Buddhist Churches of America. VHBT also offers a variety of cultural, service, and social organizations and activities, including programs for Youth and Senior Citizens.
