Bids for Beds SGH Volunteers

The Stratford General Hospital Volunteers have committed to raising $150,000 towards the purchase of new hospital beds. Our goal through this auction is to raise a minimum of $10,000, which represents the base price of one new hospital bed. We would require a minimum of $18,000 for a bariatric bed. Intensive Care (ICU) and other types of beds, are significantly more than that.

While we have many interesting and varying items for you to bid on, you also have the option to press the green "DONATE" button located at the top right hand corner of each screen within the auction site. Tax receipts will be issued for all cash donations.

Prior to Covid, we had over 200 volunteers assisting in various departments throughout the Stratford General Hospital (SGH), part of the Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance. You were likely to see us in the lobby providing Information and Concierge Services to get you to the right department for your appointment. You may have seen us providing assistance to patients and staff in Day Surgery or the various Clinics operating throughout the hospital. You would have also seen us in the Coffee and Gift Shops, and the HELPP Lottery kiosk.

Fundraising is one of the roles the volunteers are working hard at. Based on the success of our other online auctions, we are back with a an art themed auction!
