Waaban Crossing
The time is finally here and after three years of construction the project team is ready to open the Waaban Crossing for the public to use.
To mark this occasion, we’re doing something special to give back and provide an opportunity for the public to be some of the first to experience the Waaban Crossing. Below you will see three boxes where you can place a bid to be the first to walk, bike or drive (note this will be for passenger vehicles only, no large commercial vehicles) across this new bridge. All proceeds from this auction will go to the United Way of Kingston, Frontenac Lennox and Addington.
The winner will be announced on Wednesday December 7, 2022.
The 1st crossing will take place on Tuesday December 13, 2022 at approximately 2:00 PM (after the official ribbon cutting ceremony has been completed)
Thank you for your interest in this historic opportunity and thank you for your support to the United Way.
