Silent Auction-West of the 5th Poker Run 2024

West of the 5th Poker run is an annual school fundraising event running since 2019.
The poker run is a family friendly outdoor activity where registered participants can ride their snowmobiles, side by sides, or quads across scenic Pigeon Lake to 5 designated spots. They will choose a card at each stop to complete a poker hand by the end of the day all the while enjoying the activities, music, and food set up at each location and visiting with fellow riders. By a designated time mid afternoon all participants submit their poker hands and the three top hands as well as the worst hand win prizes and custom made trophies.
There are also multiple raffles and auctions and door prizes as well as 50/50 fundraisers to participate in online and along the way.
All funds generated are split between our local schools Lakedell Elementary, Falun Elementary, Pipestone Elementary, and Pigeon Lake Regional School. A portion also goes to both the South Pigeon Lake Fire Depertment and the Mulhurst Fire Department on the north side of the lake.
This event is run by dozen of caring volunteers from our community and has become an annual winter staple for many central Albertans here at Pigeon Lake.
