Legendary Shield Auction

As many of you know, just over 2 weeks ago Hurricane Helene devastated countless communities across the Southeast, particularly Western North Carolina. Our physical school, affectionately termed the "War Room", was destroyed when the Swannanoa River banks swelled to historic levels. The river claimed our building and almost all of our training gear, as well as hundreds of dollars worth of merch, event supplies, and tools.
While we are grateful that our members are safe and quickly recovering from the aftermath, our school has suffered a massive loss of resources and assets that would normally be available for our community.
The shields being auctioned here were supposed to be raffled off at Festival of Heroes, our largest event of the year, that happened to be scheduled the day after Helene swept through our region.
We are now auctioning the legendary, one of a kind shields, designed and constructed by our own Mike Erbach and Joshua Cooper, to raise money to rebuild.
We are deeply grateful to have already received so much support from friends, family, and fans. Despite the challenges WoA now faces, we are confident that our community will carry on and emerge stronger on the other side.

Warriors of Ash is a Historical European and Dark Ages Martial Arts School that revitalizes martial techniques developed over centuries by weapon masters of their time. As a school we aim to make this obscure martial art accessible to all, creating an inclusive environment that embraces diversity regardless of race, faith, gender, sexuality, or nationality. Our instructors apply historical source material, body mechanics, and modern combat attitudes to create a community with the freedom to learn the art together.
