About Our Auction
Welcome to the Oklahoma Appaloosa Racing Stallion Auction!
You are bidding on the Stallion service ONLY! Although we have tried to provide as much information about the additional associated fees you will incur from the breeding farm for each stallion it still remains solely the bidders responsibility to contact the breeding farms with any questions you may have prior to bidding.
Go to https://32auctions.com/OARstallionauction to see auction.
Proxy bidding is enabled.(Which means you can put in your Max bid and the system will automatically bid for you in increments any time another bidder out bids you until it reaches the maximum bid amount that you enter.) It can save you a lot of time not having to login each time you are out bid!
Annually the Oklahoma Appaloosa Racing Inc. hosts a stallion service auction as its largest fundraiser of the year!
Proceeds from the auction are used to promote Mixed breed racing in Oklahoma for both Appaloosa and Paint horses to try and create more opportunities for Breeders and Owners to not only enjoy the horses they love and raise but also to help try and increase participation for Mixed breed racing in the state of Oklahoma.
We support the longest running all Appaloosa Futurity in the World which is the Cricket Bars Futurity. Which could not have been possible without the generosity of such great stallion owners and their gracious donations in support of the O.A.R. and Mixed breed racing in Oklahoma.
About Oklahoma Appaloosa Racing
Since 1963 the Oklahoma Appaloosa Racing Association (OAR) has been a chartered racing organization for the benefit of the Oklahoma Appaloosa racehorse and its members. This group consists of competitive racing people who enjoy racing and who love their appaloosa horses.
This OAR has hosted some of the largest purses offered in Appaloosa racing history. Since the beginning, many Hall of Fame inductees (horses and people) have been associated with Oklahoma Appaloosa Racing Association. If you have a two year old runner, there is plenty to run at especially in Oklahoma. Three pari-mutuel race tracks here will offer races for Appaloosa horses daily during their racing meets. Added money for Oklahoma futurities is holding steady as are the overnight purses.
The OAR conducts organized meetings several times per year. Information is shared pertaining to the racing industry within the State of Oklahoma, and outside our area as well. Appaloosa racing issues are reviewed and discussed while necessary adjustments are decided upon by a majority of members. Financial details, the annual stallion auction, races, venues, promotional activities and various racing topics are typically addressed at an OAR meeting.
We cannot wait for you to join the OAR!
